Former President Donald Trump along with a whole host of other online conservative influencers celebrated the victory of far-right outside Javier Milei in Argentina’s presidential election.
Provisional results on Sunday night showed Milei defeating his rival Sergio Massa with over 55% of the votes, according to CNN. Massa conceded the election later in the evening, congratulating Milei on his victory. He is viewed as a bombastic right-wing outsider in Argentina politics, who campaigned on an anti-establishment platform.
Trump took to Truth Social to congratulate the self-described libertarian with the message, “MAKE ARGENTINA GREAT AGAIN!”

An attorney representing Donald Trump faced intense questioning Monday morning in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, as he argued that the former president has a First Amendment right to speak about his federal election interference case. A lawyer from special counsel Jack Smith’s office did not start his presentation until 10:50 a.m., 80 minutes into the hearing. The government says that without guardrails on his speech, Trump will intimidate witnesses, incite threats against government employees and distort public understanding of the case. The gag order imposed by U.S. District Court Judge Tanya S. Chutkan is on hold until the three-judge appellate panel weighs in on whether it is constitutional.

Donations have surged to groups linked to conservative Project 2025
The advisory board for Project 2025 includes representatives from conservative groups led by veterans of the Trump administration.
The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, stepped up efforts to boost its Project 2025 initiative by ramping up grants to the venture aimed at creating a “government-in-waiting” for the next Republican presidential administration, according to a new tax filing.
The foundation distributed over $1.67 million in grants in 2022 — including a total of $965,000 to organizations on the advisory board of Project 2025, tax records show. These donations accounted for 58% of Heritage’s total grant-making in 2022. It also distributed $400,000 to its political arm, Heritage Action for America.

Ohio Second Amendment ‘sanctuary’ measure cleared for the House floor
Speaker Jason Stephens is aiming for passage before the end of the year
An Ohio House committee has signed off on the Second Amendment Preservation Act, clearing the way for its consideration on the floor.
The measure removes references in state firearms law to federal statutes and places strict limits on cooperation with federal officials. The stated purpose being to keep local agencies from enforcing federal laws or regulations. But the ambitions of the bill’s supporters stretch much further than that, and opponents contend it could be a disaster for local law enforcement.
House Speaker Jason Stephens has a handful of sessions planned before the end of the year, and he wants to bring it to the floor by then.
