Cirrhosis Steve Bannon Released from Federal Prison

After serving a four month prison sentence for refusing to comply with a subpoena from the House Jan. 6 committee, Cirrhosis Steve Bannon is a free man, one week before the election and just enough time to unleash havoc on it.

Randilee Giamusso, a Bureau of Prisons spokesperson, confirmed that Bannon was released. He will return to hosting his “War Room” podcast later Tuesday morning.

Bannon was convicted of two counts of contempt of Congress in July 2022 for refusing to comply with subpoenas from the House committee investigating the deadly Capitol attack spurred by Trump’s lies about the 2020 election.

Insurrectionist Bannon should not get too comfortable being a free man.

A judge in New York has set a December trial date for Steve Bannon’s role in the “We Build the Wall” fundraising fraud case in court, the Manhattan district attorney’s office said Wednesday.

The trial for Bannon, Donald Trump’s former adviser, is scheduled to start Dec. 9, shortly after he is done serving a four-month federal prison term following his conviction on contempt of Congress charges in connection with a House committee’s Jan. 6 investigation.
