Sales Surge for Dystopian Novel The Handmaid’s Tale; An Emboldened ‘Manosphere’ Salute to The Fascist Guy’s Win

Sales rose more than 400 places on bestseller chart for The Handmaid’s Tale since the election of The Fascist Guy with a similar rush for copies of On Tyranny by Timothy Snyder.

Other books about democracy, dystopia, tyranny, feminism and far-right politics rapidly climbed bestseller charts following The Fascist Guy winning the US presidential election.

The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood, set in a totalitarian society in which women are forced to reproduce, moved up more than 400 places, and is currently third in the US Amazon Best Sellers chart.

For those who have read The Handmaid’s Tale, you might also enjoy, The Testaments, a sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale that will, at one point, become a Hulu series.
