Felon Trump Asks SCOTUS to Save Him From Friday’s Sentencing

Following the New York appeals court’s rejection on Tuesday of further delay of sentencing in Judge Juan Merchan’s court on Friday, Trump has officially asked his extreme Supreme Court to intervene in the matter.

The pause is required, Trump’s attorneys told the court, “to prevent grave injustice and harm to the institution of the presidency and the operations of the federal government.”

A spokesperson for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said, “We will respond in court papers,” as the high court has asked prosecutors respond by 10 a.m. ET on Thursday.

The tyrant-elect is appealing his 34 convictions of falsifying business records to bury media coverage of sleeping with porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.

DA Bragg’s office argues that sentencing will not interfere with the tyrant-elect’s duties as POTUS.

If the wish is granted to delay Friday’s sentencing before King Orange takes office, the case could linger like the odor of anchovies or rotten mushrooms while Team Orange would continue to see the conviction thrown out.
