White House Uses AI Cartoon to Mock Woman’s ICE Deportation

When a new trend of AI generated cartoon creations took off this week, it took the Trump misadministration only a few days to catch up, adding to its tradition of dehumanizing human beings.

The White House on Thursday appeared to revel in its cruelty when it used an AI-created cartoon to mock a Dominican migrant who was detained by ICE earlier this month.

Virginia Basora-Gonzalez, a 36-year old woman, was arrested in Philadelphia after re-entering the U.S. without legal authorization. She had been previously deported and was accused of trafficking fentanyl.

OpenAI released an update to ChatGPT on Tuesday that improved its image-generation technology, giving users the ability to render an image in the style of Japanese animation outfit Studio Ghibli.

Many social media posts rendered personal images of their families or pets, and popular memes became Japanese images.

But the Trump White House’s social media staffers took weird to a vile level because, as they say, the cruelty seems to be the point.
