Trump is bigly mad at 60 Minutes and CBS again, threatening to have FCC Chairman Brendan Carr impose maximum fines and punishment “for their unlawful and illegal behavior” after the news program aired an interview with Ukrainian President Zelensky addressing the disastrous White House meeting with Trump and Vance.
“They should lose their license! Hopefully, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), as headed by its Highly Respected Chairman, Brendan Carr, will impose the maximum fines and punishment, which is substantial, for their unlawful and illegal behavior,” he wrote. “CBS is out of control, at levels never seen before, and they should pay a big price for this.”
“It seems to me that the vice president is somehow justifying Putin’s action,” Zelensky said of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who declared war on Ukraine in February 2022. Zelensky said that the U.S. was still a strategic, strong partner of Ukraine despite its shift in “tone” and “reality” and invited Trump to visit his country to witness the devastation firsthand.

On Sunday, Putin dropped ballistic missiles on civilians in the village of Sumy, killing 34 and injuring 117, the deadliest attack of the year in Ukraine.
Zelensky called for a “strong response from the world” to the attack, which came two days after top Trump administration official Steve Witkoff met with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss ending the war in Ukraine, with video showing the two warmly shaking hands before a four hour meeting.
