Odds and Ends

◾️QB Deshaun Watson, who had a fabulous season won’t be in the playoffs. He threw for 4823 yards, 70% completion average, 33 TDs and only 7 ints. He ran for 444 yards. He plays for the Texans.

◾️The Titans’ and RB Derrick Henry are in. Henry became the eighth back in history to run for 2,000 yards in a season. He ran for 17 TDs.

◾️The Browns are in for the first time since 2002. You have to go back to the last century for their last playoff win, which was in 1994.

◾️Six coaches have been fired. Bill O’Brien of the Texans, Dan Quinn, of Atlanta, Matt Patricia of the Lions, Adam Gase of the Jets, the Jags fired Doug Marrone and the Chargers fired Anthony Lynn.

◾️RB Christian McCaffrey had a disappointing season. He only had 374 yards from scrimmage this year after having 2392 last year and 1965 the year before that.

◾️Tom Brady and the Bucs had a good year, going 11-5. Last year the Bucs were 7-9. Their QB, Jameis Winston threw 30 ints. Brady threw for 4633 yards, completed 65.7% of his passes, had 40 TDs and 12 picks. He had a QB rating of 102.2. The 40 TDs were the second most in his 21 seasons.

◾️The Patriot/Bill Belichick haters fared better. The Pats missed the playoffs with a 7-9 season, proving you correct that Belichick couldn’t win without cheating! 🙄

◾️The Lions as usual will be watching the action from their living rooms.

◾️The Jacksonville Jaguars won the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes by going 1-15.

◾️Go Niners!

◾️The College Football championship will be # 1Alabama vs. #3 Ohio State at 8 p.m. ET on Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, in Miami, Florida, on ESPN. Alabama is an 8 point favorite.
