Police say officers were called to the Walmart at about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday for a “disturbance” between two women. Officers learned that the two women knew each other and that one had a protection order against the suspect.
The woman who had filed for the protection order reportedly was threatened by the suspect, who threatened to beat her and the woman’s 7-year-old daughter, police say. The suspect then pulled down her mask and attempted to spit on the woman who had filed the protection order.
Police say the suspect then grabbed the log of meat from the woman’s cart and struck the victim in the face.
Ohio Woman was arrested, charged with assault and violating an order of protection.
“It is unknown as to what initially led to the beef between the two women,” South Euclid police wrote on Facebook.
