New York Deputy Commissioner of Trials Rosemarie Maldanado just recommended that Officer Daniel Pantaleo accused of using a chokehold in the death of Eric Garner be fired.
Appearing alongside of Rev. Al Sharpton, Emerald Gardner, the daughter of Eric Garner had a message for New York Police Commissioner O’Neil, “We’ve waited 5 years… Commissioner O’Neill, fire Pantaleo.”

According to the Associated Press, “Pantaleo’s attorney will have about two weeks to submit a response before Police Commissioner James O’Neill makes a final decision on punishment.”
At his rally in Cincinnati, Ohio, President Trump appeared to have mocked Eric Garner and others who “can’t breathe.”
