Nebraska lawmaker suggests the GOP denounce White Supremacy, gets told to leave, and called a RINO

Nebraska State Senator John McCollister (R) called out his party for enabling white supremacy and was met with disdain, called a RINO, and told to leave.

Obviously, he faced backlash for his comments on Twitter:

According to the Omaha World Herald, McCollister is a moderate Republican who will break ranks with his party, including the governor.

He voted against “Choose Life” license plates. He introduced bills, unsuccessfully, to expand Medicaid coverage and expand Nebraskans’ eligibility for food stamps. He joined in asking Attorney General Doug Peterson to back off an effort to end the federal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals immigration program.”

Who will be Trump' running mate?
