An undocumented immigrant who used to work for President Trump’s construction company claims he was cheated out of tens of thousands of dollars in overtime pay and benefits, saying the job made him feel “like a slave.”
Ecuadorian national Jorge Castro, who worked on a team of construction laborers at Trump properties around the country until this past April, says he submitted a formal claim with the U.S. Labor Department on Wednesday, charging his supervisors would routinely rebuff his requests to be paid in full.
