Trump administration to clean-up CA’s homeless problem

According to four government officials, Trumps’s latest, brilliant idea will focus on cleaning up CA’s homeless problem, primarily Los Angeles’ ‘Skid Row.’

It’s unclear exactly how the administration would implement or accomplish this or even what legal authority gives them the right to do so but here is a sampling of what measures they have discussed:

  1. Razing homeless camps.
  2. Creating facilities to house the homeless and give government more control over supervising their healthcare and housing.

The admin plans to use the Department of Health and Human Services citing the immediate need to act based on “rampant diseases” as well as sewage problems.

In July, Trump told Tucker Carlson that his administration would probably get involved in CA’s homeless issues because if “you take a look at what’s going on with San Francisco, it’s terrible. It’s inappropriate.”

David Garcia, policy director at the Terner Center for Housing Innovation at University of California, Berkeley told the Wash Post, that homelessness in CA has risen approx. 25% over the last several years but all major cities have seen increases.

Earlier this year, Trump called CA a “disgrace to our country” at a rally in Cincinnati. He referred to CA’s Democratic controlled government, or in his words, “the far left’s destructive agenda.”

Who will be Trump' running mate?
