Via Twitter, Trump has ordered new sanctions on Iran but did not specify what they would be.
The tweet comes after Iranian news agencies reported that Iran issued a warning to the United States stating it will retaliate against any planned, U.S. attacks.
“Iran’s response will be prompt and strong, and it may include broader areas than the source of attacks,” the Mehr News Agency reported the official note as saying.
