The Dolphins hired Curt Kuntz as a defensive backs coach. He has no experience either as a NFL player or coach. The last seven years he’s been with Struthers High School in Ohio.
Last year Struthers was 6-5! They were ranked 248 in Ohio! We’re number 248! We’re number 248! They even lost to Poland Cemetery, er, I mean Seminary.
Curt Kuntz’s only link to the NFL that I could find is that Struthers HS is the alma mater of Steve Belichick, NE coach Bill Belichick’s dad.
The Dolphins finished at 5-11 this year.
Here’s their win totals from the rest of the decade, beginning in 2018. 7 wins, 6, 10, 6, 8, 8, 7, 6, and 7 in 2010. Last decade they had ZERO playoff wins.
They’ve had TEN coaches this century.
The good news for the Dolphins is that they have 3 first round picks and 2 second round picks in April’s draft.
