Faye Morris Richard of Norman was charged Wednesday in Oklahoma County District Court. Authorities said Kenneth Richard, 76, was taking his wife to a hospital in Oklahoma City for a psychological evaluation when she realized where he was taking her, pulled a gun from her purse and shot him.
Police were called to the area of N Walker and W Sheridan avenues about 10 a.m. Jan. 6 and found Kenneth Richard lying in the street near a white SUV with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, according to a court affidavit. He was hospitalized, underwent multiple surgeries and died four days later.
