
On Tuesday, March 17, Arizona, Florida and Illinois each hold Democratic and Republican primaries. Ohio was also scheduled to hold its primary, but Gov. Mike DeWine tweeted late Monday night that polls would be closed as a matter of a public health emergency as the state seeks to further press its legal case in court to extend primary voting to June 2 due to the coronavirus crisis.

- Time: The polls begin to close in Florida at 7 p.m. Eastern; all polls will be closed there at 8 p.m. Polls close in Illinois at 8 p.m. Eastern, and in Arizona at 10 p.m. Eastern.

Because students registered to vote in the county where their school is, but in the midst of corona had to leave for another part of the state or the country, they can no longer vote because they are no longer in the county that they registered in.
