Limerick Wednesday!

Example:limerick is a humorous poem consisting of five lines. The first, second, and fifth lines must have seven to ten syllables while rhyming and having the same verbal rhythm. The third and fourth lines should only have five to seven syllables; they too must rhyme with each other and have the same rhythm.

There once was a man from Ohio,

Who thought his views could entice yo

He tried as he must

But failed as such

To get you to view his psycho.

And more of an inner thought:

There once was a time we were free.

We traveled just you and me

Then the orders came

And we had to remain

Behind doors with nothing to see

We went to the store

Which wasn’t a bore

With people to dodge and stand clear

Nothing to buy because nothing was there

Except for what I don’t adore.

Just give me my wine

This isn’t worth my time

Nor my health and despair.

I want to get home–so all alone

Never thought I would see this in my lifetime

Thank you, Trump

You motherfucking dump

You burned this country to hell.

Just remember—come November

We kick you in the rump

(Yeah…close….)

Same rules apply: Stand alone comments must be a limerick, Replies—just reply,
