Biden “Furious” Over Trump’s Tweet Glorifying Violence

Joe Biden on Friday said he is furious with Trump’s tweets calling for violence against American citizens during protests in Minneapolis over the death of George Floyd.

Biden’s response was “Enough” regarding Trump’s idiotic tweet stating “when the looting starts, the shooting starts.”

I will not lift the President’s tweet. I will not give him that amplification,” Biden wrote.

“But he is calling for violence against American citizens during a moment of pain for so many. I’m furious, and you should be too.”

Biden also referenced the arrest of a CNN crew early Friday morning on live television.

Governor Tim Walz apologized to CNN, saying he took full responsibility for the arrest. The CNN reporter and crew were held for approximately an hour and were later released.

“In a situation like this, even if you’re clearing an area, we have got to ensure that there is a safe spot for journalism to tell the story. The issue here is trust,” Walz said.
