U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday morning after experiencing symptoms that prompted him to get tested.
Carson’s chief of staff said that he is in good spirits and feels fortunate to have access to effective therapeutics which will aid a speedy recovery.
Carson was tested at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He was tested briefly and was released.
Carson was at the White House election night watch party, where chief of staff Mark Meadows was also attending after testing positive last week.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also announced he had tested positive on Monday. The former comedian/current president said he feels good and takes a lot of vitamins.
