  • The Mexico’s president, who didn’t pay for Trump’s Stupid Wall, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador declined again to recognize President-elect Joe Biden as our next president.
  • Moscow Mitch has yet to recognize that President-elect Joe Biden will become the 46th president of the USA.

  • SCOTUS will hear oral arguments slated for the January session via telephone, following the same format used for the previous teleconference arguments.
  • Initial job claims are up again.
  • After years of denying allegations of lax financial oversight, the National Rifle Association has made a stunning declaration in a new tax filing: Current and former executives used the nonprofit group’s money for personal benefit and enrichment.
  • AstraZeneca Faces Difficult Questions About Its Vaccine

    Since unveiling the preliminary results, AstraZeneca has acknowledged a key mistake in the vaccine dosage received by some study participants, adding to questions about whether the vaccine’s apparently spectacular efficacy will hold up under additional testing.

    Trump is threatening to veto the annual defense spending bill, which would change the names of U.S. military bases that honor Confederate military leaders. For someone who came into office on a wave of racism and who in one of his first official acts made racism an official policy of the U.S. government, it only makes sense that one of Trump’s last would be just as deeply racist.

  • CA and TX---not looking good

    There is a reason why I’m in my house:

    On Wednesday, CA reported 18,350 new cases — a new daily record, bringing the two-week average to a staggering 11,383. Officials also reported 106 new deaths, just the second triple-digit fatality report in the past month.

    The country’s two largest states broke the nationwide record for most new coronavirus infections reported in a single day on Wednesday, with California tallying 18,350 and Texas nearly 16,100 — around 3,000 and 1,000 cases more than their previous highs, respectively.

  • AZ dismisses lawsuit about in-state tuition; AG butthurt

    The Arizona Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld a lower court’s decision to dismiss most of a lawsuit that sought to change how Arizona handled in-state tuition, a case that was brought forth by Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich (R).

  • UPS will help in distributing the Pfizer Coronavirus vaccine

    UPS is making dry ice and supplying portable freezers for vaccine distribution:

    • UPS on Tuesday said it can produce as much as 1,200 pounds of dry ice an hour near its Worldport air hub in Louisville, Ky., and can ship it within 24 hours to U.S. and Canadian hospitals and clinics.

    The Texas warehouse where migrants were housed in chain link “cages” has been closed for humane renovations.
