Trump’s Mood at Mar-a-Lago As Dark as Melania’s New Woodwork

When the Trumps arrived at the Winter White House, as he refers to his members-only club Mar-a-Lago, sources say Donald’s mood immediately turned dark.

Renovations being made to the private quarters, overseen by Melania, were not to his liking and Donald was mad, according to multiple sources.

The renovations have been in the works for several weeks and were to update the residential space for their post-presidential life. They were chosen by Melania and her interior decorator.

The source at Mar-a-Lago noted Trump was so displeased this week with the way some of the renovations looked he asked that pieces of the décor, which consisted of white marble and an abundance of dark wood, be removed. They promptly were.

On Sunday, Trump did not dine out with the first lady, and instead ate dinner at a table with his sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, and Trump Jr.’s girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, according to one witness, who said Trump had a pop-by at his table from Roger Stone, one of his longtime cronies who the President had pardoned less than a week prior. Stone entered the club wearing a “Trump 2020” face mask.

However, the black-tie New Year’s Eve party must go on. Guests have been charged thousands per ticket, and is still on the schedule for Thursday evening. A club member told CNN that 500 reservations have been confirmed.
