On Saturday the former guy came out with calls for “punishment by death,” citing “indisputable evidence” that Hillary Clinton’s campaign spied on him. The statement was based on another report by John Durham, appointed special counsel by former Attorney General Bill Barr to investigate the investigation of Trump’s ties to Russia.
Trump also added that he believed reparations should be paid to “those in our country who have been damaged by this.”
*Oh, and by the way, Trump's statement identifies "Special Counsel Robert Durham" -- when Durham's name is John.
Jim Jordan — who refuses to testify before the January 6 Committee — agrees, and says the former guy was right on target.
Jordan said the “spying” was “worse than we thought” before agreeing wholeheartedly with Trump’s response. “We’ve never seen anything like this in history,” Jordan exclaimed. “So President Trump’s statement yesterday, I think is right on target. This is truly unprecedented, truly something that has never happened in the history of our great country.”
Another rant agreed with Jim Jordan and Daddy Trump.
The latest Durham report is another layer to the same allegations against a lawyer, Michael Sussman, who was charged with lying to the FBI and is going to trial this spring.
The report is officially a “motion to inquire into potential conflicts of interest,” surrounding the counsel of the defendant Sussman.
