Excerpts of an interview of TFG AG Bill Barr with Lester Holt were released that revealed Barr felt Trump was responsible “in the broad sense” for what happened on January 6.
However…..
Barr also says he hasn’t “seen anything to say he was legally responsible for it in terms of incitement.”
Barr is promoting his new book One Damn Thing After Another, and the full interview with Holt will be aired on Sunday.
Barr also made sure to include that he told Trump that his claims to a stolen election were “bullshit,” and that Trump came up with other “hair-brained” schemes.
The Mueller investigation was also a topic of discussion, and Holt questioned Barr about his explanation to the public about the exoneration of Trump.
