“There is violence in the future, I’m going to tell you,” said Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), on ABC’s “This Week.”
“And until we get a grip on telling people the truth, we can’t expect any differently.”
Kinzinger, one of two Republicans on the January 6 Select Committee, went on to describe receiving a letter in the mail that threatened his execution, along with that of his wife and 5-month old baby.
The letter was addressed to Kinzinger’s wife and stated, “…although it might take time, he will be executed. But don’t worry! You and Christian will be joining Adam in hell too! We find it blasphemous that you name the son of the devil Chistian (sic)!”
A spokesperson for Kinzinger said the threat was reported and that extra precautions are being taken for the family.
