🤡 The Clown House’s 🤡 Real Mission: Avenge The Orange Ass

Instead of doing the ‘People’s Work,’ Speaker (In Name Only) and the rest of the GQP clowns have embarked on a mission: Avenge The Orange Ass…AKA Trump.

Since regaining the House of Representatives earlier this year, the GQP has used “the powers of their majority to carry out Donald Trump’s quest for retribution against his political adversaries, bolstering the indicted former president’s 2024 campaign message that he is the victim of a wide-ranging conspiracy by ‘villains’ who must be brought down.”

Examples of their ‘mission:’

  • Fighting to “expunge” TFG’s impeachments.
  • Punishing TFG’s ‘outspoken critics’ (Adam Schiff).
  • Throwing Reps. Schiff and Swalwell off the Intelligence Committee.
  • Investigating law enforcement entities that charged Trump.
  • They crafted a “weaponization” panel that channels his grievances.

Although Speaker in Name Only, Qevin McQarthy, has endorsed the expungement effort, he also said the ‘quiet part’ out loud then had to clarify his statements about TFG’s attempt to get back in the White House instead of possibly a lifetime stay at Club Fed.

The House speaker angered Donald J. Trump’s allies by saying he did not know whether the former president was the strongest candidate to beat President Biden.

Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday declared Donald J. Trump the “strongest political opponent” against President Biden, rushing to make clear his loyalty to the former president just hours after suggesting in a televised interview that Mr. Trump might not be the Republican presidential candidate best positioned to prevail in the 2024 election.

The hurried attempt at ingratiating himself to Mr. Trump underscores Mr. McCarthy’s fear of alienating the former president as he struggles to keep together his fractious House majority and withstand mounting pressure from right-wing lawmakers loyal to Mr. Trump. And it reflected the precarious position of Mr. McCarthy, who has not endorsed Mr. Trump or any other candidate, as the G.O.P. presidential primary takes shape.

The comment irked Mr. Trump’s allies, setting off an urgent effort by Mr. McCarthy to walk it back. He contacted Breitbart News, the right-wing news outlet, to offer an exclusive interview in which he said the former president was “stronger today than he was in 2016” and blamed the media for “attempting to drive a wedge between President Trump and House Republicans.”

Who will be Trump' running mate?
