Liveblog - ICYMI: September 08, 2023:

With so much going on in our world, we sometimes miss important issues. Please feel free to share any headlines or new developments we may have missed providing they come from reliable and credible sources.  In other words, please do not post any missed headlines form far right ‘news’ sources or regurgitate their Russian propaganda unless you’re trying to point out that the far-right extremist in our country and elsewhere actually believe their own BS or Russian disinformation.   We also ask that you provide a link to your source so folks can read it if they want. Please do not make any claims that you cannot factually validate or verify.

PSA:

So, Disqus has revamped the ‘Channel System’ in a much smaller and not so better way. There is barely any moderation (bots/AI); the trolls, racists, MAGAts, and others who started failed blogs after the original channels shuttered, have found a new home where they will destroy like they did the last time around.

I do not advise going there for obvious reason, just like I advise not to patronize shitholes for the same, obvious reasons. Although the assholes polluting up the place have little to no control over their content, (and behavior) moderation, or whatever, they’re into their attacks, flagging, etc. At least they cannot do this-👎🏽 👎🏽 👎🏽

But, I would just avoid the channels. I have posted there and flagged several racist assholes but, it’s so not worth it.

^^^What these two morons represent is what the new, Disqus Channels represent–filth.
