With so much going on in our world, we sometimes miss important issues. Please feel free to share any headlines or new developments we may have missed providing they come from reliable and credible sources. In other words, please do not post any missed headlines form far right ‘news’ sources or regurgitate their Russian propaganda unless you’re trying to point out that the far-right extremist in our country and elsewhere actually believe their own BS or Russian disinformation. The same applies to what is currently happening in Israel. We also ask that you provide a link to your source so folks can read it if they want. Please do not make any claims that you cannot factually validate or verify.
The 🤡 Clown House 🤡:
This is sure to backfire on them.
The Republican majority in the House continues to embarrass themselves wasting time, energy and resources litigating the grievances of Donald Trump. Now they are doing it again by launching an investigation of former Mark Meadows aide Cassidy Hutchinson.
Rep. Barry Loudermilk, who represents the northwest Georgia district that borders that of Marge Greene, has announced that the Oversight Subcommittee that he Chairs will launch an investigation into Hutchinson. Loudermilk says that he discovered that Hutchinson waived her attorney-client privilege in writing with her first attorney in order to provide testimony to the Committee about the reasons why she changed her initial story about what happened.
With COVID-19 cases on the rise once again, everyone seems to either be getting infected or know someone who is. Without the robust data tracking that was available during the public health emergency, a clear picture is harder to discern, but some trends can still be observed.
Hospital admissions jumped by 20 percent in the most recent week, having been on the rise since the start of November. That trend is reflected across the country, apart from the Western U.S., with roughly 10 percent of U.S. counties now considered to have high hospital admission rates.

William Chrestman, 51, was sentenced to 55 months in prison with 36 months of supervised release and was ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office in Washington, D.C. He pleaded guilty in October to obstruction of an official proceeding and threatening a federal officer.
Chrestman, an Army veteran, wore a tactical vest and protective gloves and carried a gas mask and a wooden axe handle with a flag attached to it to the Capitol on the day of the insurrection, prosecutors allege. He was also accused of bragging about harassing police.
