The Assholes with Casseroles took their hate, hypocrisy, and fascism to New York City where they were met with protests. The group drew a large protest from local parents and the LGBTQ community Thursday evening—as well as guests including disgraced former Rep. George Santos and Rudy Giuliani’s son Andrew.
Protesters flocked to Manhattan on Thursday to oppose the right-wing extremist group, which hosted a “town hall” for “an honest conversation on the state of education” that featured anti-trans and school choice activists.
“What we are here to say to … Moms for Liberty is take your clown circus back to Florida,” said state Sen. Brad Hoylman-Sigal (D-Manhattan). “We don’t need you in New York City or New York State.”
Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) weighed in ahead of the protest.
