Donald Trump abruptly stormed out of the courtroom this morning during E. Jean Carroll’s defamation trial, minutes after District Court Judge Lewis Kaplan threatened to hold Alina Habba in contempt of court. Trump’s temper tantrum began during closing arguments presented by Carroll’s attorneys.
Carroll’s attorney, Roberta Kaplan, told jurors that Trump has no respect for the rule of law.
“Donald Trump, however, acts as if these rules or law just don’t apply to him,” she said.
