In a Monday court filing, legal eagles for Donald Trump have asked the appelate court for a pause in the judgement, claiming it is “impossible” for them to secure a complete appeal bond, which would “effectively” require “cash reserves approaching $1 billion.”
Former Guy’s lawyers said they have approached roughly 30 surety companies through four separate brokers in attempts to secure bond for his civil fraud trial.
