The United States Supreme Court has officially vacated a stay of a Texas immigration law that would allow Texas state officials to arrest individuals they believe are undocumented and have come across the souther border illegally, thereby circumventing federal authority over immigration in the state.
To put it in perspective, given the Supreme Court decision today, Texas law enforcement officers can arrest any person in the state who they believe may have crossed the border illegally. State judges no longer have to wait for federal immigration enforcement proceedings and can remove an individual without waiting for federal proceedings to move forward.

The COVID-19 vaccine can cut the risk of heart failure and blood clots after a COVID-19 infection, a new study in the British Medical Journal found.
Previous studies found that a SARS-CoV-2 infection can trigger cardiac and thromboembolic complications, and the risk for a person infected remains high for a year after becoming sick, researchers noted.
The new study found that while the risks remain, getting a vaccine slashes the risk of heart failure up to 55 percent and blood clots up to 78 percent after getting sick.
