Trump’s Bedminster Golf Club Within Miles of Epicenter of Earthquake

A 4.8 magnitude earthquake rattled the tristate area on Friday, and it turns out that Trump National Golf Club Bedminster was nearly at the epicenter.

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the earthquake hit at 10:23 a.m. ET near Whitehouse Station, New Jersey. Trump’s golf club is located less than seven miles northeast of the area.

It is unclear if the club received any damages at this time.

The earthquake was felt by nearly 42 million people from Philadelphia to New York, and there are reports that tremors were felt even as far as Maryland and Massachusetts.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul said there were no “life-threatening situations” nor reports of significant damage, but warned that “there is always the possibility of aftershocks.”

Flights into New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Newark airports are currently being held.
