TFG Flip-Flops on Reproductive Rights; Doesn’t Support Florida’s 6 Week Abortion Ban; Wants Mandate Supporting Funding for IVF

In an interview with NBC on Thursday, The Felon Guy indicated he would vote in favor of abortion rights in his home state of Florida, where it is on the ballot. Saying he thinks the “six week [ban] is too short,” he said he favored “more time.”

When asked explicitly, “so you’ll vote in favor of the amendment?”, Trump seemed to affirm that he would.

“I’m going to be voting that we need more than six weeks,” he told NBC News in an interview, before saying he favored exceptions in abortion law for the life of the mother, rape and incest.

In the same interview, The Felon Guy also claimed that if he is elected, his administration would not only protect access to in-vitro fertilization but would also have either the government or insurance companies cover the cost of the expensive service for American women who need it.

“We are going to be, under the Trump administration, we are going to be paying for that treatment,” Trump said before adding, “We’re going to be mandating that the insurance company pay.”

Asked to clarify whether the government would pay for IVF services or whether insurance companies would do so, Trump reiterated that one option would be to have insurance companies pay “under a mandate, yes.”
