Supreme Court Abandons Prior Guidance To Allow Virginia To Continue Voter Roll Removal Operation
The Supreme Court does not traditionally weigh in on election matters this close to an election. Well, except this Supreme Court.
This morning, a divided Supreme Court allowed a Virginia program to move forward that could strip potential non-citizens from the Commonwealth’s voter rolls ahead of the November 5th election.
A lower court previously ordered that about 1,600 voter registrations, which were cancelled as part of this operation, would be restored after there was evidence that proper U.S. citizens were also targeted as part of this voter roll removal operation.
