California lockdown 2.0

Although not as extreme as 1.0, nineteen California counties will close most businesses and activities that occur indoors.

During Governor Newsom’s Wednesday press briefing, he “targeted Wednesday for immediate closures of gathering sites and businesses, including bowling alleys, wineries, card rooms, indoor zoos and other family entertainment areas.

The new closures are indefinite in duration, but county health officials say they expect the retrenchment to remain in place at least three weeks.”

The Sacramento Bee:

Restaurants will remain open but will not offer indoor dining. A restaurant can serve people outdoors, or offer pick-up or delivery.

The counties affected by Gov. Newson’s order to close indoor activities include: Contra Costa, Fresno, Glenn, Imperial, Kern, Kings, Los Angeles, Merced, Orange, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Joaquin, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Solano, Stanislaus, Tulare and Ventura Counties.
