Far right, wing nut Laura Loomer announced she will run for Congress to unseat Rep. Lois Frankel (D-Fla.) The district is located north of Miami and heavily Democratic. In 2019, Rep. Frankel ran unopposed.
In a statement, Loomer said:
“My opponent cares far more about radical leftist special interests, her anti-Semitic colleagues, and protecting criminal illegal aliens from deportation than about her district and constituents here in Florida who she’s supposed to be working for, not against.”

Ms. Loomer is well known in Wing Nut World for her attacks on Muslims and immigrants. After Twitter banned her for her Islamaphobic comments and attacks on Rep. Omar, Loomer handcuffed herself to Twitter’s New York City headquarters. She also wore a a yellow Star of David on her chest and a sweatshirt that read, “#STOPTHEBIAS.”

She wants to stop the bias, but only for conservatives.
Maybe, just maybe, we should stop bias as a whole, just toss that out the window, but then a lot of the far right’s talking points will be null and void.

PayPal, GoFundMe, and Venmo have also banned Ms. Loomer. In 2017, both Uber and Lyft banned her for “calling for a new ride sharing company to be created that didn’t employ Muslims.”
