Three House committees, Intelligence, Oversight and Reform, and Foreign Affairs announced they will launch a broad investigation into weather Donald Trump, his lawyer Rudy Giuliani, and possibly others pressured Ukraine’s government to assist Trump’s re-election campaign by having the country probe Joe Biden and his son Hunter’ involvement with a gas company owned by an oligarch.
The letter signed by Reps. Engle, Schiff, and Cummings requests that Secretary Pompeo produce documents related to the matter and accuses both Trump and Giulian of coercing the Ukraine government “into pursuing two, politically-motivated investigations under the guise of anti-corruption activity.“
