Nancy Pelosi: ‘The evidence is clear’

Nancy Pelosi held a press conference Thursday to discuss the impeachment inquiry hearings. She hinted that the House has not completed them and we could hear testimony from additional witnesses. But, she did not specify and potential witnesses.

“We aren’t finished yet, the day is not over,” Pelosi said during her weekly press conference. The Democratic leader added that you “never know what testimony of one person may lead to the need for testimony of another.”

Newsweek:

Speaker Pelosi also declined to furnish any timeline on impeachment proceedings. She only said the House “will go where the facts take us.”

She also chastised her Republican colleagues for standing by Trump stating that “the sad tragedy of all of this is the behavior of the President and the defense of that behavior by the Republicans.”
