After disappointing finishes in Super Tuesday’s primaries, Elizabeth Warren is dropping out of the Democratic race for president.
The Massachusetts senator, who centered her bid on a promise to wipe out corruption in Washington, is announcing her decision on a staff call Thursday morning.
Afte placing third in Iowa’s race, fourth in New Hampshire and Nevada, and fifth in South Carolina, Super Tuesday’s results apparently signal the end of the road for Liz.
According to an NBC News story, Warren had a clear message with answers to complex problems. She rose to the front of the pack early and avoided conflict with rivals. Then her “Medicare for All” plan was attacked by rivals and she eventually moved to a “public option” which didn’t please moderates nor progressives who moved toward Bernie Sanders.
