Police said Daniel Crowder, 19, got into an argument with the victim at their home in west Nashville just before 1 a.m. March 8. The victim went outside to get away from Crowder and then heard a gunshot from inside the house.
He tried to call the police, but was unable and then saw Crowder walking towards him outside with the gun raised. The victim rushed Crowder and tried to grab the gun.
As they wrestled for control of the gun, the gun fired, the bullet hitting the victim’s tip of his penis. The victim then ran away, Crowder firing at him as he took flight.
Four days later Crowder, who had fled, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
There was no word if the victim had been previously circumcised.
