The Lincoln Project heads to Ohio with their anti-Trump message

The Lincoln Project, the group of Republicans actively campaigning against Republican President Donald Trump, is out with a new television spot in Ohio starting this weekend focusing on the president’s call for a boycott of Akron-based Goodyear Tire & Rubber.

That includes purchasing $425,000 worth of air time starting this weekend and running through next week – when Trump will accept the nomination during the Republican National Convention – to air the spot on cable in Cleveland, Akron and Youngstown, according to a Lincoln Project spokesman. The 30-second spot will also run on broadcast in the Youngstown market.
