Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God" (proposed by Ben Franklin for the motto of the Great Seal of the United States).

Constitution Day, September 17, 2020
September 15, 1963, 57th anniversary of the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing that killed 4 little girls

Hiya News Viewers, I’m a little late; I can’t stop going through cartoons– there are just SO many classics this week. The “Trump in a Diaper” though — says it all, one picture and a few words, says it all.

Everything that happened this week, another week of non-stop unbelievable chaos and drama, happened against a backdrop of the Constitution–September 17 every year is Constitution Day. On Constitution Day this year? We have an Attorney General grooming the base the way a child molester grooms a victim…….See him sitting there, so relaxed, so confident, talking as if he’s everybody’s favorite Uncle, saying closures due to the COVID Pandemic are the greatest intrusion on civil liberties since slavery.

Oh, William. You are a tricky one, aren’t you? Slippery, slippery, slippery. William, for the sake of the man he wants as King, uses his position as the “neutral” head of the DOJ to connect listening to science with being a slave, connects following what top public health agencies are saying with having no freedom, with being “restrained.” And Why? Because he’s on the stump for Donald Trump. . . . .

There’s a lot to talk about, but listening to Barr as he starts throwing caution to the wind, and talks about how he really feels about slavery, COVID, protests . . . . . .on the day after Constitution Day, Barr is on my mind.

And then there’s “My Pandemic Life and Why I’m Wearing These Sweatpants” which is the title of the book we’re all living, and I want to talk about that too. Because in my neck of the woods? Curiouser and Curiouser, as the Cheshire Cat said. Or we can go with Hamlet….. “the time is out of joint, O cursed spite, that ever I was born to set it right.” My slight paraphrase is “the time is out of joint, O cursed spite, that ever I was born to sit on the couch in these sweatpants and watch the news. . . . .” (Rachel laughing a LITTLE too loudly……)

So watcha got? I’m sure I’m not the only one out there who just a tiny bit hysterical; let’s talk News Viewers, happy Friday to all……..

Who will be Trump' running mate?
