Dirty-Diaper-Stealing Toronto Man Arrested and Charged

A Toronto man accused of stealing soiled diapers on several occasions has been charged by police.

Toronto police report Shane Stephen Kirkaldy is suspected of taking dirty drawers from an organic waste bin at the side of a home between Dec. 1 and Jan. 23. The 40-year-old man was arrested shortly after 5 a.m. Saturday and charged with three counts of prowl by night and theft, as well as two counts of criminal harassment.

The residents phoned police when they realized that the same man kept returning to their home for the diapers.

Police told CP24.com it’s not clear why the man took the dirty diapers from the home’s bin.

It’s unclear what Kirkaldy planned to do with his haul. Police are asking the public to contact them with any additional information.

There was no word on why Mr. Kirkaldy’s nose was scabbed up.

I’m including a link to “What really happens to the organic waste you put in your compost bin”, as it was all a mystery to me.
