Though new case numbers have leveled off to between 50,000 and 60,000 new cases per day, SIGNS OF AN IMMINENT 4TH WAVE ARE APPEARING in the upper midwest and northeast as new case hotspots are turning up just as millions of Americans and many stone cold idiot state government leaders are dropping their guard (and their pandemic restrictions) and Republican idiocy is threatening our ability to reach herd immunity with their vaccine “hesitancy”. I think we will end up calling this one the “Spring Break Surge” after the fit hits the shan in a few weeks.

- 30 states + DC with positive test rate less than 5%
- 6 states with a 10% or higher positive test rate
- 3 states with a 20% or higher positive test rate

- we are now averaging 2.5 million vaccinations per day
- over 12% of the population is now vaccinated
- states have expanded their vaccination eligibility pools including teachers in all 5 states
