GQP poised to censure Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger for doing the right thing

Stopping short of calling for their expulsion from the House Republican Conference, the GQP plans to move forward with a resolution to censure Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger for doing the right thing and not go along with TFG’s and the cult’s ‘Big Lie.’

The Klan Party has already cleared an RNC committee vote on Thursday. The entire GQP will likely approve it at its winter meeting on Friday. The measure rebukes Cheney and Kinzinger for their involvement on the Jan. 6 select committee.

“This is not about them being anti-Trump,” Harmeet Dhillon said. “There are plenty of other people in the party who are anti-Trump whose names don’t appear in the resolution. These two took specific action to defy party leadership.”

The resolution would amount to a weaker admonishment of Cheney and Kinzinger than initially proposed. Led by David Bossie, a longtime Trump ally and RNC member from Maryland, ardent Cheney and Kinzinger critics had lobbied for a resolution calling for their ouster from the House conference. That proposal had drawn resistance from some RNC members, who said they feared the language was unnecessarily inflammatory.
