Russia Sanctions 13 U.S. Officials Including Two Bidens, One Clinton, and Zero Trumps

Russia has sanctioned President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and several administration officials in retaliation for U.S. sanctions on various Russian banks, oligarchs, and commodities over the Ukraine invasion.

Included in the Russian sanctions are Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, press secretary Jen Psaki, CIA Director William Burns and other economic and financial officials.

The sanctions bar the officials from entering Russia.

Also included in sanctions were former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Biden’s son, Hunter Biden.

Not included were any Trumps, (unapologetic) Trump administration officials, or Republicans.

Hillary thanked the Academy.

The ministry said in the statement that it would add additional names to the sanctions list in the future to target people who are “Russophobic or contribute to inciting hatred towards Russia and the introduction of restrictive measures.”
