Colorado Rep Lauren Boebert made a fool of herself in a video when she read a letter from a Gold Star mother.
Boebert claimed that the letter was from the mother of Lieutenant Corporal Kareem Nikoui, a soldier who died during the withdrawal from Afghanistan.
“Lieutenant Corporal” is not a rank in the U.S. military, Kareem Nikoui had the rank of Marine Lance Corporal.
