US Senate Advances Bipartisan Gun Deal After 30 Years of Doing Nothing

After numerous, too many to count and too exhausting to research mass murders and injuries because of guns, “the Senate advanced a bill Tuesday night that would toughen federal gun laws and provide billions of dollars in new money to prevent future mass shootings after negotiators settled key disagreements.”

“Tuesday’s 64-to-34 test vote, which took place less than two hours after the final text was circulated, put the legislation on a path to pass the chamber by the end of the week.” The Senate hopes to have the bill passed before the July 4 recess.

Here are the Republicans who showed some balls and did the right thing for once in their miserable careers.
