Good morning, News Viewers, and Happy Tuesday.
Damn, I have our local news on and just awful…third stabbing in less than a week in Davis, CA. I don’t know how much anyone knows about Davis, CA, but it’s a small college town (UCD), west of Sacramento and probably one of the safest places on earth. It’s very rare to hear of major crimes occurring in the town. I mean, bicycle thefts happen, but stabbings? Anyway, that’s kind of what I’m pondering today…why and how people turn to violence and commit such violent crimes. I think we’ve been trying to solve that mystery since the beginning of time.
So, what’s going on in your world? I’m still cleaning up messes the roofers made and replacing some of the plants they trampled. We want to get our house painted next but, I don’t know if I can go through another major project without blowing up at people. I know there isn’t really a “nice” or non-destructive way to lay a roof or paint a house but, good grief just have some respect and be mindful of other people’s property. I know I won’t be hiring any hillbillies this go around, that’s for sure.
