Junior Varsity Senator Campaigns In an Apple Barn in Michigan

Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance campaigned in Sparta, Michigan, today at Apple Valley Events, and unleashed more profound statements on immigration, inflation, and the attempted assassination of the former guy.

Sparta is a small town in rural Kent County, known primarily for its fruit producing ridge. Kent County is a long-time Republican stronghold, but has turned blue in the Trump era.

On the assassination attempts:

He said more needs to be done to protect Trump, “not just for his sake but for the sake of the American people.”

JD claimed he was one of the first to speak to his Bestie following Sunday’s incident on the Florida links.

“And he says, ‘JD, you won’t believe it. They just tried to do it again.’ And I said, ‘What did they try to do?’” Vance recounted. “And he said, ‘Well, they just tried to shoot me again.’ And I said, ‘What?’”

Vance said Trump was “totally fine.”

“(Trump) was a little annoyed about one thing, though,” he said. “He was mad because he was on the sixth hole and he was about to make a birdie putt.”

This statement should clear up why RFK Jr. should not remain on any state’s ballots.

Vance addressed the number of migrants in Springfield, Ohio, many of them from a mysterious country named “Haitia.”

On inflation:

“The number one thing we’ve got to do to get control of this crazy inflation and drive down the cost of everything is to unleash American energy,” he said. “Drill, baby, drill.”
